The food at Kirsty Smallwood's 37th birthday party was so delectable, so pretty and so very tasty that the band had eaten most of it by the time the first guests arrived. But the drink still flowed, so the dancing was amongst the most energetic of the summmer. 250 skeletal guests danced to music provided by the well-fed members of Gaz's. The Smallwoods' house, The Vineyard, was the apt venue for this open-air celebration, and their vast garden was the home of the uncovered dance-floor. Media folk and politicians hobnobbed hungrily, and the arts and armed services were represented by Andrew Logan dressed as an Admiral. Colour was added when the accordion-player threw up the delectable food.
Slim would like it to be known that this all happened a long time ago, he is a good boy now and Slim's Cyder Co. are the ideal entertainment for any social gathering (and it wasn't him that threw up anyway - honest!)
