The Hackney Ramblers

This band, lead by top cajun accordion player Tony Weatherall, are a 50's/60's style dancehall cajun band. As yet unrecorded, the line up features accordion, twin fiddles, electric and steel guitars, drums and acoustic guitar. Ideally suited to a dancing crowd, the band is also a lot of fun in a concert environment. They can be heard on Chris Hall's BBC Radio2 programme, Cajun Clubhouse, Monday nights at 9:00pm. ramblers@bayou.demon.co.uk
